The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light years away.


Andromeda galaxy is also commonly referred to by other names Messier 31, M31, or NGC 224 is one of the galaxies outside the Milky Way galaxy that is visible to the naked eye, provided that seen on a clear night, no moon and no light pollution.
